Pastor John

Pastor John Sterner is a commissioned lay pastor who has been with the First Presbyterian Church of Albion for the past four and one half years. He is actively involved in the community in a number of service and character related projects, many focussing on Albion youth. Previous to this position, Pastor John served in the Auburn Hills Presbyterian Church.  He is married to Peggy, and has 9 children, 3 dogs and 3 cats.

* What is a "session"?   The session is composed of the pastor and a body of elders elected by the members of a particular church, and having the care of matters pertaining to the spiritual interests of that church and the policies regarding its administration.
